General information
Codin uses technologies needed for the operation and security of the site. PostHog visit analytics and attribution only start if you accept them. You can reject them or withdraw consent without losing any site functionality.
Operation and security
If a form submission fails, the browser temporarily keeps its contents so that you can try again without retyping them. The draft is removed when submission succeeds or the tab is closed. The form also uses Cloudflare Turnstile to detect automated submissions. Cloudflare may process the IP address and technical device data during this check.
Audience measurement
With your consent, PostHog measures page views, device type, source channels and contact actions using a random browser identifier. This connects visits and submissions in that browser, without identifying you by name or tracking you across devices. Events are processed in the European Union. We do not send form fields, record sessions or create advertising audiences with PostHog. We respect DNT and GPC signals. Cloudflare Web Analytics separately provides aggregate technical statistics without cookies.
If you accept analytics, Google Analytics 4 (Google) also measures visits, their sources and website use through browser identifiers and technical data. Enhanced measurement automatically records navigation, scrolling, outbound clicks, downloads and interactions with forms, videos and internal searches where available. The first-party cookies _ga and _ga_PYT7PCB63N are configured to last 30 days from their update. Google Signals and advertising personalization are disabled. Withdrawing consent blocks measurement, deletes these cookies and reloads the page. Google may process data outside the European Union; see its privacy and data processing information.
GA4 retention is set to 2 months for event data and 14 months for user data; the latter period resets with new activity. These limits do not apply to standard aggregated reports. Withdrawing consent prevents future measurement but does not automatically delete data already sent. You can request erasure and exercise your rights by writing to hola@codin.es.
Google privacy policy · International transfers and safeguards · Data processing terms
Shared links may contain UTM tags for the channel, article and post, without personal data. After acceptance, we keep the first source, last external source and last article viewed within a 30-day window in codin:attribution:v1 (local storage). The first-party PostHog cookie ph_<project>_posthog lasts 30 days from its update; session data is also stored for the browser session. We remember your choice for 180 days in codin:consent:v2 (local storage). Withdrawing consent stops capture and removes this browser’s analytics storage. This does not automatically delete events already sent: you can request their erasure by email. PostHog events are retained while needed to compare content and channel performance over time; their necessity is reviewed when this measurement is discontinued.
Manage your preferences
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time through the “Cookie settings” button at the bottom of the site. You can also delete cookies already stored through your browser settings.
